Satellite TV remote

Does anyone have a way to let the customers use the remote without it being stolen? or do you even allow the station to be changed? Any ideas here would be appreciated, the laundry is unattended.

I'm still working on how to keep the toilet paper roll thing from being stolen, will get back to you on the remote"( On second thought, how do you keep the TV from being stolen? I bought one for $12 and it was stolen 5 months later. A customer brought in another, feeling bad about it. I gave him a $20 card for his thoughtful thoughts.

I have a wall mount that the TV sits on and it is about 8 feet off the ground. On these wall units they have slots for the straps that hold the TV in place and so I had the local muffler shop bend me 1x.25 inch stapping into a C shape. It slides over the TV and through the strap slots and then I drilled holes and put 4 good master locks on it. Been in place for about a year now and no one has even tried to touch it. I'm touching wood the whole time I write this so it will still be there in the morning. It really looks a whole lot stonger than I think it really is, but looks are important.

That sound very secure, but if I did that the locals might cry foul. It is better to leave not barred/chained down to build up trust. Hope them $12 TV's keep comming on!

I made toilet paper holder myself and padlock it,that is the only way to keep toilet paper in my stores.

What has worked for us is to epoxy the Remote to a small linked CHAIN... works like a charm (10 years and counting)
