Hi all,
We are closing on a used laundromat next week, and are wondering what kind of input you all have about changing all the locks. My locksmith suggested that replacement coin drawers with new locks were a reasonable option, to rekeyingall those barrel locks. What about change machine, vending locks? Any one have any good suppliers for these?

Has anyone installed door lock timers? We are purchasing a owner attended mat, but our employee (family member) isn't going to be there late enough to close everynight. We are installing a very good internet based camera system. Any opinions on electromagnetic VS electromechanical locks?

I was not to worried about the old owner trying to empty the machines after they sold me the store. I dident change the locks on the machines but I did change the code on the alarm system and installed a camara system too. I would like to rekey just to get all the keys the same.

I agree with the locksmith, entire new coin vaults all keyed alike will be easiest and simplest.
I think a coinwash.com sponsor has coin vaults with locks, for washers and dryers anyway. ask them if they have vending machines, too.

If not, try happ controls for new vending machine locks
