Natural gas prices

Is everybodys gas rate going down.
I am in Upstate New York
My last three bills for commercial property I own were:

12/2/05 $ 1.34 per therm plus delivery
12/21/05 $ 1.15 plus delivery
12/30/05 $ 1.07 plus delivery

1.68. All taxes, fees and delivery included. Down from 2.02 last month. Still extremely high historically, but a welcome trend.

I just looked at the nicor site and January gas cost has dropped to 1.09 from 1.13. I think the month prior it was 1.17.

This is gas cost only, not delivery.

Let's hope this trend continues now that we've all (hopefully!) adjusted dryer pricing.

my gas bill doubled from last year. Does anyone do long term gas contracts like 2-3-or 4 years?

As of 1/20/06 $ .99 plus delivery ( must be supply is backing up a tad here in the Northeast due to warm weather )

new bill, Jan period, 1.27 plus .36 delivery.taxes = 1.63
Feb NG is trading under 10.00, so maybe next bill is total 1.40?
Looking at supply, demand, etc the current prices in all energy do not make much sense. I expect them to drift further down, barring another natural disaster

With many different commercial properties I own and all being on the same commercial rate from the same gas supplies I get 1 or 2 bills a week for one or another of them.

we're at 1.25 delivered. I just installed a 500,000 BTU outdoor wood furnace to heat our 12,000 sq. ft. warehouse. If I had the space for it I would get one for my coin laundry in a heartbeat!

I will pay for the entire system in one heating season.

If you have the space at your laundry for a unit like this to heat your water, do it.
