They sold there business via live. All equipment sold for $151,000. 24 Maytag tops, the rest IPSO 18 doubles, 6-25#, 9-35#, 2-50# and 23 stacks all 7 years old.
The owner has just built a NEW 3000+ sf stand alone mat. .25 Cents Wash and Dry. He has plans to build 2 more?
All stores will be .25 cents until everyone goes out of business.
Does anyone have anymore information on this?
Why and who is backing this guy?

Is that legal? I know here in Florida there is a law that states a gas station can not sell gas below cost. I do not know if that applies to other business, but maybe a call to a state attorney office would be in order. Are you saying all washers and dryers are 25 cent a cycle? Or 25 cent a pound for w/d/f?

I'm running 25 cent wash on neptunes in a mat that I just took over. I'll run it this way for a while to build up customer traffic. Plan is to sell the store ASAP. I'll switch from 25 cent wash to some other ongoing promo..tuesday wed thursday discounted 35's and 50's. You can sell anything for whatever price you want to. Whats the difference between this and free dry?
