My competitor came up with a great idea for gettig more Hispanic customers. Bus them in. There are only two Mats with in a 30 mile radius and there is a large Hispanic popluation. A lot of Hispanics do not have vehicles. He has worked it out with one of the churches to Bus Migrate workers from certain locations to his store. Him and his partner are both Hispanic.

This would not work out for me as I do not have the capacity on Saturday and Sundays.

Just a great Idea I thought I would pass your way.

yea great idea if he has the proper insurance to bus people in. I bet after the first accident he has he will stop this policy.

A coin laundry has been doing this for years in southside Chicago since the not enough parking and some customers have no car,he used limo then use mini van now.
A laundry owner in my area pick up their customers during the weekday slow time,he told me as long as he use his car,he drive, his insurance will conver .
I took some customers home, drop them off when I was spending a lot time in my stores.
Shipping centers have shipping bus pick customers up in my area too.
Bus may work out for shipping centers,I think it is too much work for laundromats since you will always have people ask you " can you stop here for 2 mins,I just need to pick up some milk".

Driving your own car doesn't get very many customers per round trip!
Let someone else drive, insure, and maintain the vehicle

Focus on our core business and outsource other stuff when appropriate

For Instance the casino bus takes the gamblers to the reservation.

Maybe a shuttle van type vehicle too, such as airport shuttle - some taxicab companies also operate these shuttle vans and would love a commercial account with a fixed schedule.
