I take in drycleaning at my laundromat. I send it to a drycleaner up the street and we split the profit - it has been very profitable for me.
Fortunately, nearly everyone eventually picks up their clothes, but how how long do I have to wait to sell off the clothes that are left behind? And do I have to post an announcement ahead of time?
Cheers...

I think the number varies by state, in my state it is along time, 6 mionths, we don't have to give any notice, but thry to call the customer first anyway. If they don't come and we need space, it's off to the goodwill store

my preprinted invoice says 30 days - but we start calling them after 2 weeks. We keep old drycleaning till the end of the year. the left over goes to salvation army - tax deductable.
