My mat has Speedqueen and Maytag Washers.
There is a mat for sale that has all Wascomat.
I'm not familiar with these except for that most people in the industry think Wascomat is one of the best.

I see posts saying things like "gen 6" Are these different generations? Can you identify its age buy the model number?
Is there something to look out for?

ALSO, I'm leary about a mat with ALL Front Loaders. My current customers like options for TL.

Figured this board might be more honest than a Distributor.

it has: 24) Junoir 18#, 6) Senoir 30#, 2) Giant 50#
Did not get the model #'s

Look at the serial number and call wascomat, they can tell you the exact age. Some of them also have the year and month of mfg next to the SN. Gen6 is less than one year old, Gen5 can be anywhere from about 1-11 years old and gen4 is about 11-20 years old.

Don't be too concerned about no Top Loaders, I don't have any and I know many mants that have none.

That is a good mix of wascos. I agree to , don't worry about the absence of tops. Most front only store cutomers learn very quickly. The wascos are very reliable, parts are pretty cheap, and they are easy to work on. If the door is round they are generation 4, if it is square it is generation 5. The generation five has some improvements such as a circuit board timer, a water activated drain valve(no motor and gear), and a circuit board door lock. The gen 4's are very solid machines though too, just older.

Ditto on the top loaders. I have two stores. My older store had a lot of tops, so I was reluctant to build my new store without them. I did anyway, and its never been a problem. I have never had a customer ask for a toploader in that store, and business is very good.

Additionally, tops are water hogs. They will no longer be available in the US in about 5 years. I just switched nearly all of my top loaders to front loaders at my older store, and have not had a complaint there either.

Until the current Gen 6 series, you can also tell the Wascomat series by the final digit, 73, 123, 183 are the Gen 3, etc.

As far as mix goes, you are light on seniors. The market is shifting to bigger machines.
