I was in a mat out of town and saw these installed on the supply lines of all their large frontloaders.
They were 3/4" and were installed between the hose and the machine and the cartridge was about 1 1/2" long.
I have been searching for an inline filter like these and cannot find anything like them.
Has anyone ever seen these or use them or know where I may purchase these.
I like the idea of a larger filter as we have a high magnesium content to our water and I am always cleaning those tiny little screens in the hoses.

Thanks, Kevin

I had sediment in my cold water lines that kept slowing down my fill time and thus the number of customer I can move in and out of my store. My friend who works in irrigation placed a sediment trap in the main water line into my building. It's PVC so it was all cut and past. The part cost aroung $100 if I remember right. All it is is a fine cylindrical screen that lies 45 degrees from the main line with a spigot. Once a week I turn the spigot 90 degrees and the water shoots out 15 feet and cleans the screen for me. My 2-bay carwash uses the same principle on the soap side to catch soap scum. It will also help your hot water tank last longer. Try Lowe's, Home Depot, local plumber, or Grainger where mine was ordered.

I had a SQ parts book out and saw a filter in it for the front loaders. It scews on the washer and the hose screws into it. Very simple. It listed no part number, but it was for sc18,25,27,35 and 50 Ec washers.
