Looking for yearly gross sales broken out by monthly percents.
Ex: Dec-10%
Jan-12%
ETC....

Are you looking for increase in percentage to revenue per month?

I'm looking for what each month represents as a percent of the yearly gross sales. We have been open since the middle of April and I would like to project out the rest of the year based on average sales in the industry.

My seasonal will be different than yours. If you are in a non-seasonal enviroment, ie, not a resort town, university town, etc then I would guess you will have more business durring school year time, ie the kids need more clean clothes, and as winter draw near you get the comforter and warm weather clothes business. My slowest months are Aug and Sept. I have some mats on high seasonal business. Maybe some Northern owners can give some more exact advice.

I have charted for years, and find absolutely no pattern. There are not any colleges, resorts or seasonal work to influence me.

For us its busy in the winter and slower in the summer. Hope it helps.

maybe you are using the wrong charts??

No months are better than others?

Don't have years of experience to quote, but from 7 mths experience and prior owners 'records', July and August are the lowest here in New England. Coin op went down a bit, but WDF went down a lot. People on vacations, summer clothing, lazy, etc.

Now that kids are back to school, cooler weather arriving etc. mid-September is back into action. We have 3 employees and an average payroll of 88 hrs/wk and WDF really keeps them hopping.

Also, just put price increase into effect to help on the coin-op side.
