I have one HUEBSCH DRYER 30XG don't heat up, I tried switch the computer and the IEI board, even I change a new probe with new HIGH VOLTAGE WIRE, but still don't fire up!! and idea to chack the gas valve if I don't want to switch it from other machine, I used a muti_meter to check both coil and got a reading 337kohm, same as the working machine, any advise??
thanks

Do you hear a click when you push start? Is it sparking at all? What happens when you push start?

Air flow switch?
I don't see that you had that in the list of items checked.

The loss of income from a single machine really has no bearing if all the other machines are not in use. A customer will use any available machine, so the "lost revenue" will be in another coin box. Granted, having machines out of order detracts from the harmony of the mat, but stressing over lost income, that most likely is just redistributed, is just an unneeded headache. Just my 2 cents worth.

Granted Joe but today is Sunday the Mat should be filled.
Now there is one machine or two machine not working.
Lost money in my book.
But I do respect your opinions ,
Like I said I have a problem. I also can't stand dryer sheets on the floor too. I'm Nuts

I completely understand. I'm just a tech (though I managed a mat for 9 years) and I cant help picking up the dryer sheets when I walk into a service call...drives me nuts too :)

What bugs me are the people that only respond with "why don't you spend $ 29.99 and ask on the tech board".
If you want to help offer a possible solution.
Just my opinion.
Like Quartermaster said, check the airflow switch. It may have lint in it preventing it from closing.

I pleaded with Coinwash owners to OPEN up this board, and they did.
So now you have free repair section and a pay for repair section. The pay for section has real techs that will answer your posts quick.
Here everyone will answer. But expect to be chided a little into joining the prem services, after all, part of those subscriptions are what pay for this free section. If you don't want to subscribe, no problem, just support the board with donations so it can stay free and non censored in the future. Click paypal and send $5 if something here helps get you going again. I know everyone wants everything off the internet for free, but there is no such thing as a free lunch, right?
Thanks for everyone's participation!

Pete,
I thought that the premium section was no longer (i.e., it was all "free").
Do we now have to pay to receive a response from Marc?

totally agree with you, also thanks for your advise, but I think my problem is not the airflow switch, I checked it and it can close with no problems...
thanks anyway!!

Premium section is for those that require indepth technical information by someone with proven advanced profesional skills such as MSK and the other professional techs on our site.
The bulletin board is free. The premium section is similiar to the bulletin board although its difference is members go the bulletin board to discuss repairs as they choose for free and the premium section is a pay portion of the website where members seek a more indepth professional response from MSK and the new additons to the technical portion of the premium services.
The premium section was inspired by the technical service and a great deal of input for this was inspired through MSK's vision including bringing the website additional ways to create revenue to the website. I expect Marks preference is in answering the questions that appear in the Premium section.
No one is saying you have to pay. We appreciate your patronage!

Maybe that was your problem you "thought"
OUCH !!!!!
Laundry King, your attempt at humor is not appreciated.
Jonathan mentioned that the premium section was being eliminated and people were fired over the decision to keep the repair section premium only. I see premium section and repair section posts appearing that I can read even thought I am not a premium member.
Jonathan and Co. - Please explain the current setup and your future plans. I didn't realize that you were planning to keep 2 repair sites - one free and one pay.

It's funny how people get bent out of shape on both sides.
There was an announcement to all members who gave a contribution of $50.00 and up were made premium members for 6 months and the ones who paid got an extra 6 months free.
We got no thank yous from either sides(But that’s ok). I don’t want to get into this CRAP any more.
Pete F made it perfectly CLEAR on how Jonathan is now running the board.
I respect Pete F and will keep our word to him, I work for Jonathan and I like my position on this site. The person was as you said “eliminated” for CENSORING.
The premium board had nothing to do with the FIRING OF this person.
So Mark I’m real sorry that you misunderstood stood.
But if your name is in BOLD BLUE you are a premium member.
If you don't want it please tell Kitty to have you removed:)

Why don't you just post it?
It would be nice if you could share the answers
YES?

I think I can explain this simply....the free section is a way for owners to discuss problems among each other and help each other when they can. The premium section is a place to go where a professional tech such as MSK, TTLES and myself can get you going much faster and without a whole lot of guess work. I can't speak for MSK or TTLES but I have decided to help COINWASH stay operating financially by only helping out in the premium section.
If you had chosen to post in the premium section I could have had this one solved the same day you posted, it's an easy one.
As a gesture to stop the childish bickering, I am going to give you a freebie THIS TIME.
You most likely have a bad centrifugal switch in the motor or there is lint in the switch, preventing contact.
Another possibilty is a bad 'B' switch on the coin mech.

...or a bad thermostat, stove or tumbler high limit, clogged venting etc...
I'd be happy to post my answers for all to see, but the thread just seems to have filled up with bickering. Thought it would be easier through PM's

I usually let you guys have this thread all to your selves. Kind of like the garage or the work room, its your own private boys club. But, when I hear loud noises coming from behind closed doors....
Gentleman, we appreciate that you come to this site for information, we thank you for this Our goals have always been to help the laundry professional with their business. I think this site is very beneficial to owners in a variety of ways and we'd like to continue to bring this website to you and continue our upgrades and follow the path we have set for further improvements.
ALong this way we'd like to make a few bucks...In an effort to to find a revenue producer for the website the technicians on the board, ie MSK Outlaw and TTLES have offered their valuable time and expereince to you in the event you need their expertise. If you do, we have provided a Premium section for questions geared to directly to them. This premium site is a tool for Coinwash.com to help fund some expenses that occur each and every month within this site, until we can capture our share of corporate advertisers. Our goals are and will still be to continue to seek advertisers to place on the board. We have many many companies that plan to do business with us in 2006 when their advertising budgets are renewed. But, this premium section of the website is for those that want the professional attention of the guys listed above.
In an effort to make piece with contributors from earlier this spring we gave each of our past 50$ + contributors a free start up membership to the premium section for their continued support and because we have always appreciated our members contributions to us. We thought this to be a fair solution to the premium section issue.
Laundry king, I appreciate your patronage to this site. What I do not appreciate is your comments to the members in regards to whether they wish to join the premium section or not. The members will make their own minds up. LK, Please refrain from making comments in the future. Everyone knows the talents we have in our premuium service section.
If the member wants to pay for the service he/she will. We will appreciate the members whether they join that portion of the site or whether they don't.
Thanks, go back to business boys and quit arguing!
