My SQ computerize TL machine, sometimes displays "error" when all the money is registered. Sometime it will reset to "start" but most of the times it'll reset to display before the money was put in. Customer will then need to put more money in-order for it to start. It is not consisted in any means. On the average it happens maybe two or three times a week with 4 TPD.

Is it possible it's a grounding issue?

I do not own any SQ computer TL washer but i think your problem have to do with power glitch when computer board energize start relay for wash cyle.

Safe and sure way is replacing computer board.

If you want to monkey with it Then replace ELECTROLYTICS capacitor around circuit that convert AC to DC and hope new capacitor will stabilize DC power.

I wouldn't think twice about spending the money on the computer board if the problem was consistent. It's not! I hate to spend money on something that only happens two or three times a week.

There's a fix for this from SQ. The problem is with the coin sensor in the coin drop. Because it's low voltage, static can cause the sensor not to register the coins. SQ has a filter you install between the sensor and computer. Should be free if under warranty, or reduced price if not. It works 90 to 95% of the time.

If you are there to return money then is OK but if you
not there and it happen to same customer more than 1
then he/she will go some where else.
