Laundromats near universities

I am a new Coinwash.com member and currently conducting research into the industry. This website is a great start for newbies!

I have recently found a laundromat that is located next to a well-known university. This particular laundromat is located in an area heavily populated with college students (18-24 years old) and has a small percentage of low-income working class families. Seems to me to be prime for a laundromat business. Does anyone have any experience with a laundromat in this type of location?

If your looking for in depth help with analysis you may get the best response by posting your questions in the Premium section but either way be sure to list all the information ie. vend price, equipment (# of washers and dryers correct sizes/vend prices as well as age model number is good too) Size of store, university size, distance store is from university. Find out about the schools laundering service and on site laundry centers as well as the local competition.

Find out what the demographics is for the area and what the school brings each semester including what are the dates school is out.
