Hi.. guys..I have Dexter T400 washers that making noise (kncok..knock) when it starts spinning..do any of you have same problem?? is it belt?? thanks..

Check the mounting bolts.

I agree with David, mounting bolts. One person here sometime ago found the cabinet bolts rusted away and not holding things together. A belt that is bad would make more of a thumping noise. You may want to check the inner tub, just reach in and see if there is any up/down play. If it there is, then check the bolt on the back drum. Maybe bearings.

I did check mounting bolts and inner tub.. they are fine and no ups and down movement.. I think Motor is hitting tup, when it starts spin mode ...if that is the case how can i prevent it.. tia

thanks guys..I did look at it again when is was spinning fast..There are two bad spot on the belt. when it spins too fast it is making that noise...not normal spinn.. I will replace the belt than see what will happen..thank you all..
