I have an 8 column Vend Rite Loap Vender. Every product works well except the "Tide" boxes. The hang up in the columm, cheating my customers. I've tried other column & cleaning the columns. Any ideas?

Try rubbing the inside columns with a little wax paper.

good luck :)

You may notice with Tide and other vended soap products that the boxes don't lie completely flat in the columns. I alternate the direction of the boxes every three boxes. I.e., 3 boxes with the word "Tide" facing out toward the customer, then 3 boxes with the name facing toward the rear of the machine. This has solved the problem for me...

Hope this helps,
Walter

if you're experiencing the same problem I was : the lever would slide under the soap, I put a big thick tape under it with a cutup empty soap box. So far in two years I had to do it two times.

I know Mark (sponge head) has had some issue with one of his collumns and he has talked to vendrite in the past at the shows ~ if he doesn't this post and respond I'll it outpoint it to him and see what he can offer for you.

Thanks for the "Sponge head" reference Kitty!!

I have had issues occasionally with the motor arm jamming. This happens mostly with Clorox 2 due to the relatively higher weight of the box as compared to others. I just don't fill it up all the way and that solves the problem. Vend-Rite can provide instructions to reset the motor arm.

BTW, I have a 12 column vendor which is basically trouble-free and VR has great customer service. I don't have their # handy, but I would call them with any issue that you're having. I have never had the arm slide back and forth under the box without dispensing.

Hope that helps.

Are the boxes staying in the column or are they getting hung up in the back?
