I have some swt21 top loaders with the digital coin drop and coins are always getting. Do you buy the 310M4 tool to get the digital mechanism free or do you have some kind of hollow nut driver?

Thanks,

You can make the tool if you can braze buy the socket and braze
a hollow tube tool on the end works fine. Speed queen sells
if it cost 15.00 or less buy it. What is the problem with you coin drops
do you get random ERROR codes. I get 1-2 Ea month I have cleaned ea
drop the optical sensor still happens.

I use a hollow piece of 3/8 inch square stock I bought at home depot. It fits into a 3/8 drive socket and a 1/4 ratchet fits into the other end. basicly what you get from SQ.

If you are having a problem with lots of quarters getting stuck or not dropping, I've given up trying to adjust them...I just ripped off the weight on the right side of the drop...works for Maytag metal drops as well.

I get error codes 1-2 times ea month on different machine
people put 2-5 quarters error codes and will reset in 1 min
back to 0000 I have cleaned the optic sensor.
Does this problem happen to anybody else?

The two most common causes for this are:

1: the coin is passing the sensor too slowly...try using dry slick or some similar product to clean the rail the coin runs on Removing the weight I mentioned in my previous post also seems to alleviate this.

2: bad computer...try swapping it
