Has anyone else experienced intermitten start problems with their Huebsch HC washers. I have seen 2 problems.
1. Money inserted, machine counts down and resets.
Insert again and runs fine.
2. Money inserted, machine counts down and timer makes one click and machine does not start. Machine then must be manually advanced to end. Machine then works fine.
First problem is more common.
Thanks
I am experiencing the exact problem with my new Huebsch Washers purchased in Jan of this year.....you call a rep to come look at it and there appears to be no problem. I have personally watched the machine take the money and count down time with no cycles. I turned right around and inserted money and ran through full cycles with no problems.........What is going on here? ...

Same problem here and no answer. I wonder if its the coin drops? Maybe try a Keltner coin drop.
I had simular problums with Huebsch machines I put in almost 3 years ago. After about a year and a half I had many different itermitten problums. Turned out to be something called B-Micro wiring harness. There was a factory recall and they replaced them.

Are the doors to your washers shut tight and the latch engaged completely?
The door question is a possibility, something I haven't considered.
But you would think it would do something other than take the customers money and reset if it wasn't. But I am going to experiment with that one and I'll let you know.

Are these the ones with the solid state timer or the old fashioned motor drive timer? I know when Whirlpool introduced the EMS1000 series they had problems with the electronic timer getting "amnesia' as the water fill sensor clicked. THey wound up having to put a shunt somewhere on the board or the sensor, to take that surge away. Once that was done the machines ran great. I don't know if SQ/Huebsch have similar issue or not, just a suggestion.
