I have a six month old 80# b-micro, and the cycle selector/start buttons don't work. I can't change the cycle, start the machine, or program machine. The keypad doesn't work. Is this a simple, easy to fix problem, or do I have to wait till Tues. or Wed. for a tech to come? If anyone has had this problem, or knows how to fix I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Have you swapped out another key pad,
From another machine to make sure it’s the pad ?
To make sure that is the problem?
Which it probably is.

I am not sure if the computer has a separate touch pad or if it has microswitch on the computer but if the tech will be coming Tuesday/Wenesday then wait for them, its under warranty (parts).

Please give us a follow up on what was the problem and how you fixed it.

Thank you and good luck

Fortunately, the store is way too busy to start switching parts from another machine. If I get a lull later on I may try it. I just wanted too see if I could get it to make some money over the next couple of days. You guys ever notice these things never happen on a Wednesday morning. Always a Sat. morning on a holiday weekend. Thanks anyway, and I'll post what it was.

After a couple part switchs it wound up being a disconnected wire. Touch pads are not the easiest thing to be switching, I don't recommend it. I have noticed that any time I have an issue with these macines it seems to be a wire issue(more often than not), whether it be a cut wire causing a short, a wire became disconnected, or a wire connection lose. Is this common for SQ in general, or is it that there are just sooooo many wires, that the law of averages takes over? Sorry I didn't reply earlier, I forgot I posted this.
