Last week had TWO different Maytag Tops have the Agitator go on endlessly.
MAT12pd (computer model)
Maytag told me it was the reversing Relay & that sometimes they just "stick" and need to be tapped.
Pulled off the see-thru cover off each Relay & made sure they weren't sticking (they look like brand new), ran again & both fine.
3 days later & same thing happened with 1 of them (Agitator running for 2 hours til a kind customer flipped the lid)
sounds like the sticking problem is sticking around...
