I have an STD32DG dryer that will not turn.
Insert coin, push start, nothing happens -- no motor start.
Display says "drying".
Checked all doors to make sure closed.
Any ideas for trouble shooting?

If the belt in the back is OK, swap the computer with another machine. These boards have a nasty habit of blowing the connections on the motor relay.

No broken belts.
Will try the computer swap.

Swapped computers. Now it will start and run ONLY while the "start" button is held.

Let's talk motor relay. It has been mentioned on several threads.
I have several computers with the 'no moter start' issue, and a couple where the uunit will run if you hold the 'start button.
What am I looking for on the boards? Where?
