Hello,

I have 83 ADC dryers, 9, 75lb and 74, 30lb stacks. We have been open just about 9months an I have noticed that there is a lot of lint build up at the bottem of the dryer, right under the drum on the inside. Is this normal? I was told that once a year to clean them out good but i have cleand out 31 of my dryers thus far and it seems like a lot of lint build up.

Don't know which model you have, but if the stacks are ADC-236 I know what you are talking about. Unless you are going to take them apart everyday (ha ha ha) don't even bother trying to clean the area under the drum. I have these dryers and as fast as you clean out that certain area it is filled with lint and grit again. I have had them for about five years and have no problem with the lint that accumulates there, except that it does not look too cool.

They Make A Brush To Clean This Out...no Disassembly Of The Dryer.

And it will pay for itself with all the cash that collects under there...the only other dryer thats more lucrative is a Dexter stack :/

Will this brush work on the Single ADC 285 & where do you purchase this, cost & possibly a link to a picture of the brush?

I have 20 adc 285's. I use a wet/dry vac to clean them out. I bought this mat in April it's 6 years old and I don't think these dryers where ever cleaned very well. When I tried to clean that area under the basket I found that sticking my hand inside and feeling back towards me to the right and left the dryers where packed up. after releasing all that stuff the vac sucked evrything else out with no problem.
That day on cleaning dryers I netted my approx 12.00 in change. 4 lighters. 2 pens, 8 diamond earings (not sure if they are real), a 14k gold mens ring with black onyx and 2 small diamonds, a pair of silver earrings, and 2 necklaces. I still need to take the earrings by a pawnshop so they can test the post to see if it's gold and if they are real diamonds. If not the men's ring was a good find but it only fit's my pinky. I don't really like that look. a wet/dry vac has been an invaluble investment. Last week I had a drain hose leaking and was able get the water off the floor quickly with the squegee attachment.

I've got 16 ADC 330 stacks. My guess is they are around 10 years old. I bought the mat 3 months ago and I don't think they had been cleaned out in....you guessed it, 10 years. I pulled more than $25 out of the lint that had accumulated under the drum. I used a stick with a nail sticking out of the end to reach back there.
