I have a Sys 500 validator that is returning "Bad Cal" when I try to calibrate.
Can I service this in the "field"?
I will call them on Monday if no one can help with this.

Give them a call, or just send in the unit. Standard generally has great tech support. I have found their repairs to be quick and reasonably priced.
If you want it back ASAP, send it via overnight delivery. They prioritize shipments received overnight, and it can save 2-5 days. I live within the 1 day shipping zone and regular UPS gets it there overnight, but I don't get priority repair unless it is shipped red label.
Always a good idea to have a spare acceptor (and stacker) on the shelf.
