Do Gen6 Emerald system washers allow you to set different pricing at different times of day or days of week?

OK, maybe I cannot read - so how about telling me yes or no, does the Gen6 Emerald allow you to set different pricing points for different times of the day.

Wow, this is too good not to get in on this action. I'll give you a hint Kirby, read (or ask a friend to read) the first sentence of the link.

Here is what the page says:

"Emerald washer's unique vend price wash cycle selection feature is designed to promote coin laundry business automatically any time of day, any day of the week, during slow periods, and more.

Which may say something, or maybe fancy marketing goble-de-gook! So, does that say you can price differently at different times or does it say the machines look good. Can you change the price once per day, or can you set a different price for every minute of the day? It says I can vend differently at my slow periods - what if those are at the bottom of the hour every odd hour but not every even hour?

Can someone who has some actual experience with these beasts give me a straight answer. I rather learn it hear than call Wasco, but if no one wants to be of help I do know how to dial the phone :)

I have some (Gen 6s) in two different stores and the manual you get with the washers doesn't tell you how to do the time of day pricing. My guess is call Wasco or your distributor.

If the Gen 6 is the same as Gen 5 than you will need additional equipment to change the pricing for day and time. The Gen 5 requires an X-10 controller relay along with an X-10 programing console. I have just installed 5 Gen 6 wascos but have not yet looked into them.

If the Gen 6 requires the same X-10 equipment as the Gen 5 than I would be willing to sell my whole x-10 set up for 10 washers.

Kirby,

Why don't you just call Garden State Laundry and ask them how it's done? They should be able to tell you.
