We like Dexters. The only bad thing is sometimes the seal on the door leaks. Wascomat is a good choice too

Wascomat is for me. A lot of the parts are interchangable and easy to get to.

I am not a service man but i see many speed queen bearing problem. My
Super 20 is old but my friend has a two year old SQ and i can hear roaring noise during spin cycle. Replacing bearing is a most difficult job and time
in front loader.

What machine had best tub/bearing design for over loader customer?

Wascomat may have the best bearing system .I still see a lot Wasco Gen 3 in service, they are about 30 years old.

older Maytage=UniMac=SQ=Huebsch
No too bad machines,a lot stainless steel, look great, the bearing system is not the best, some bearing job can be very expensive, very heavy to move and install.

I have 3year old Maytag Triples (made by primus) love them. No service problems as of today. But in the first half of 2006 there will be a all new line up for maytag. Still made by primus.

From The Factory, The Unimac Has An Inherent Problem.
The Front Bearing Does Not Properly Fit The Cylinder Shaft !
This Causes The Shaft To Wear Down As The Bearings
Start To Go Bad. Most Machines, Especially The 35 Pound
Washers, Will Have Shaft Damage. To Repair The Bearing
Assembly It Is Necessary To Replace The Cylinder, OR ***BETTER YET***PROPERLY REPAIR THE CYLINDER SHAFT.

How do you "properly repair the cylinder shaft"?
Does "replace the cyclinder" cost a lot money?

Ken Why don't you ask this question on the Premium Services (your signed up)

One of our Techs could probably answer your question?

Just a thought?
