I assume you do not have CLA. Shopping for insurance for my new store was fun, my current company which insures 3 stores said no thanks, the agent got me a quote for $6500, which was about double what I thought it should have been. I got a lead from my equipment rep for an agent and played phone tag for 2 months, but in the end he got me a policy for about about $3,000. It was the first break I have had in this project.
Are you dropping prices to pass on the savings, like wal mart :) ??

Insurance is with SafeCo
through CLA, same company they had me with last year.
Tell them you saw their company's name on Coinwash.com

My insurance was scheduled to drop this year too. So much so that I almost didn't think it was worth it to drop it entirely, but I did. I figured I'd try it for a year and see what happens. It's a concrete building (so no fire), it's attended (so no flooding problem), the equipment is all new/operational, I'm a corporation (so no personal assets are at risk).

Kirby and others:
Regarding Safeco, check http://www.badfaithinsurance.com before going with that company. Their rating is 10th from the worst for payment of claims.
I realize this is from just another website and may or may not be just someone's opinion, but it's another piece of information. I personally refused to go with them when my agent wanted me to.

Quartermaster, When you have a large claim all insurance companies act in bad faith. They will send an adjuster and he will do everything he can to get out of paying. If you have a sizable claim, just hire a private adjuster that charges you 10% and they will read your policy and whip your bad faith insurance company into shape quickly.
BTW the 10% is more than compensated from the actual money you receive.

guess they saved enough money by not insuring Florida or the New York City area to lower prices...
