Any new info/opinions on the Staber washer?

Someone suggested to my boss that he check out Staber's web site and now he wants me to find out anything else I can about their machine. A quick search of the forums here showed that the last mention of Staber was more than a year ago when "fluffy" asked if anyone had one of those.

So, does anyone have any new information or opinions about the Staber washer?

Jim, you need to use a different search engine. There is plenty of info on Staber at:

I know there is a current thread on Staber vs. WP Duet, and there is another one down a page or two that discusses capacity, cleaning, extraction and maintenance. Except for the double hatch top-loading door, it seems to be a fairly good machine. At Clean '03, Staber was considering putting a window in the lid so at least users could see the tub spinning.

Thanks for the info! I used to check that site fairly regularly, but when my hard drive "cratered" a while back, I lost everything including the URLs for my favorite sites. (Yeah, I should have had a backup, but you know how that goes.) I hadn't done a google search for Staber yet; I wanted to see what the folks here might have to say first. Thanks again.
