The PWS survey about the coin laundry industry as the sexiest, easy, most profitable, recession proof business for 2005 continues to search for more publicity. It is in the March 2005 CoinOp Mag, both as an article and an editorial by the editor Paul Partyka. I urge you guys to read it in the CoinOp magazine. My original post about this is at the top of the board. It has quite a few hits but not many comments. I figured more of you guys would chime in.
I cannot understand how this survey is given so much credibility. I sure wasn't part of the survey. The attempt by PWS to plaster such a rosy picture of our industry in the world media does nothing to help anyone but, well, PWS and other distributors.
Mr. Partyka urges readers to email him their opinions about the survey. I sent a long winded letter to him about my opinion, for sure. Perhaps some of you would oblige him at ppartyka@crain.com.
