Hi All,
Currently in the process of putting in a new attended mat. We have decided to go with the Emerald Gen6 washers, but have not yet come to a decision on the dryers. I have read through some of the past thread's regarding the TD30/30's, but wondering if anybody could offer updated info on these dryers (pro's & con's)?
Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have some 8 year old Heubsch dryers in one store and they are pretty easy to fix. I have Dexter dryers in my other store and have had minimal problems. I feel like I am happy with both of these brands. I don't have any experience with the new Wascos, but those computer boards look very expensive to fix or replace.

I have all Maytag dryers (ADC) they work great. One of my friends put in the Wasco dryers some pockets and some 50s he likes them, but I know some of his regular costumers for many years have come to my place they say my dryers are hotter. I do know that are temps are set the same on all sets. His bussines is doing the same $$ are before he put in the new dryers. (Gas bill is better) I say just go with one company for your machines, just make sure there service is great.

I have the TD30/30's, 6 pockets. I have been in business for a little over a year and have had no problems with them.

Hi Karen,
When Wasco first introduced these dryers, parts were VERY expensive. They have currently reduced the replacement parts pricing down to a reasonable cost. I have been at the factory where these are built and have installed over 200 units. They work fine and customers really like the drying. Not to say that there are not other manufacturers who have great dryers as well, but to keep your new store uniformed with the same manufacturer as the washers may make life alittle easier.

The Wasco dryers have recently had another model update.
I'm happy with mine, the initial bugs (minor computer errors) seem to have worked themselves out. ( I just ordered another 6 pairs)

I thought I learned a fair amount of Canadian from my wife... but what is 6 pairs of dryers??? A pair is 2, so you bought 12 dryers ( that would be a dozen)

Perhaps, he should have said that he bought 6 stack dryers. But, then again stack dryers come in 2's (which is a pair) :)
You guys always have me LOL!

I was reading some of the threads, and could help but notice that alot of them very year old threads. I have seen and worked on the new or shall i say revised wascomat dryers and I'm impressed one thing I have to give wascomat they learn from there mistakes. The new dryers and alot more strudy and less finicky and best of all service friendly. One thing i noticed the old dryers were td3030 where as the new dyrer is td30X30. The X bet. the numbers say they are the revised ones.
