I worked for a Milnor dist. for 15 yrs, we had one customer with 4 700# open pocket washers. The drum was 72" in diameter, I could stand up inside it and I am 6' tall. The rear pully needed a fork lift to pick it up. Took 4 guys 2 twelve hour days to replace main bearing housing.

Better have a card system. That's alot of quarters!
If you go to Clean show, you will see a few those big machines.
What is the biggest machines in coin laundromat now?

My biggest machine is a 40 pounder, or maybe it's just 35 pounds. I'm thinking of putting in maybe 3 used 50-pounders, in place of some tops (I have 12), but need to work out the numbers to figure if it's worth it.
I don't think I really need the one I posted :)

With that machine, you do just drop-off laundry. In by 8am, out by 5pm. Put each order in it's own mesh bag and toss it in! You'd be done in no time!
Continental makes the biggest coin-op washer at 125 pounds.
