For your information.

I attended the :eek::eek: seminar (Basics for Beginners) in Las Vegas this weekend. My friend who is helping me with getting started in the laundry business thought it would be a good idea to go (he paid).

From what they were speaking on I did not learn anything new. Through COINWASH.COM and researching on my own, I new much about what they were speaking on. I am so glad I personally did not fork over the money for these basics although, it did enlighten my friend and perhaps many others who do not know about this site.

For all those who read this ... COINWASH.COM has a wealth of information that cannot be measured.:eek::eek: charges WAY to much money for the information that is gain here on this site.

We all should be thankful for this FREE message board.

If, there is anyone who attended did you feel the sameway?

Thanks to all

I attended one last year and found the prepared content not very helpful, but talking to some of the experienced owners who were there helping with the presentation during breaks was priceless.

I know many may not be keen on :eek::eek:. But, I find it suprising that no one from this board went.

Thanks lland. I didn't talk to anyone ... didn't care to. My friend talk to a few people.

It was nice to get away from the kids for a little while.

I used to go to :eek::eek:'s meeting/class in Chicago area 2,3 years ago, only cost $25 and included dinner, most classes were useless or salesmen from different companies. The seminar maybe different but you can get the same info here.

I went, and I found most of it informative and helpful.
It would have been a better value if I had gone before buying my mat because some of the material I already figured out in my first 6 months.
For instance I didn't count each machine type separately and have no hard data for my turns per day by machine type, or dryer revenue as a % of washer. I'm getting ready to expand about 25% by knocking out the wall next door, and I might end up installing the wrong machines in that space

I went to the :eek::eek: seminar in Tampa a few years ago. I got some good information, but talking with other owners was the best way to learn about the real world. I did another :eek::eek: seminar last Fall in Chicago and probably won't ever go to another one. It was very expensive and I didn't feel there was much good information. I doubt if I will ever join :eek::eek: again. This web site has much better information.

Thanks to all for your replies.

I agree it is too expensive for the information they give. There is a possibilty that people can learn from the seminars if they do not know about this website in addition to reading and researching.

But, I believe if you seek you shall find.
