There are about 140 members listed signed in for this web site, yet only about a dozen or so post or reply to messages.
I remember my first time I posted to a public BB like this, I was sort of uneasy, terrified more like it.. Once you get thru your first sentence and hit the reply button you are on your way to cyberspace and a whole new set of friends with common interests. With no real topic in mind here, you "lurkers" as we call those who read but do not "talk" please go ahead and test your posting ability here. A simple Hi I am from (state) would be fine. Go ahead, start with the reply button..it is easier than messing with a drain valve, trust me...

Hi there, EH!

Hi, Rich from NJ here. I am buying my first l'mat now. and learning so much from this site. I believe in listening to the people that are running a successful business. I absorb every thing I can from this site.
The store I am buying will need a lite remodeling, nothing major and not right away. I'll run it for a few months the way it is to see how it goes first. After the remodel I will want to advertise it a little, but the only thing i can think of to advertise is clean, well lite store with a lot of parking. The place is unattended, no WDF. and that's the way I want to keep it. Well, that's a little about me.
Thanks to all of you for the valuable information you people post to this site every day.
Rich

Hi, my name is Lorie. Me and my husband just bought a laundry mat about a year ago. We are from Ohio. We also own a carwash. I guess we like the water business! No really though, I like coming to this site because I have learned alot of info I always wondered about and really had no one to ask. Thanks for the site.

Hello, my name is Eddie and I'm from Wisconsin. I currently do not own a laundromat yet but it is in the works. Hopefully within the next 2 years. This is a very informative site and I enjoy all of the expertise from all over the country. It saves me time from speaking with people that have no idea what they are doing. And believe me, there is a lot of them. I've been viewing this site for a few months and just recently became a member. I don't believe I'll have a lot to say but I'm sure I'll ask questions as they come up. I don't know enough right now to give anybody advise. Thx!

Hi to all-
Like a lot of you, I'm new to the business ( not an owner yet ), and look at the board as a great asset.
The wealth of knowledge by those who post here will save me a lot of time and aggrevation when I finally take the plunge. In the meantime, lacking the experience to give out good information, I'm happy to stay a "lurker".
Cheers,
NJ Jon
