Even though I have told my employees there children are not allowed during there working hours, at times when I look in through my internet camera system, one of there children are there hanging out, then at closing they are helping to clean up. Part of me says, hey I am getting 2 for the price of one, and I do not care how it gets clean as long as it does, but the other half of me says, am I liable for the little brats. (just kidding) Anyway, if an issue was ever to happen is it better that I ignore it, and claim I did not know of the kid being there, or should I have them sign something stating they should not have any famliy members there, and if they do I can not be held liable. I know you guys are not lawyers, but I just wanted to know if anyone else has the same situation.

As long as they do their job.I allow my employees bring their kids ,even their grand kids.
Day care is too expensive,I don't think most my employees can afford as long as they sign a note, bring your kids at your own risk.
One of my employee brought her dog ,I said NO!

My personal opinion is that this is one of the perks of the job (at $7 an hour any perk is nice) and if they want to bring kids or other pets they can as long as the job is done.

I used to allow Employee's Kids but then one kid started to get hurt. She fell down two different times because she was playing around and one time she needed stiches. I therefore, do not allow any more employee's kids becuase today it could be stiches and tomorrow it could be something much worse..

That is why I ask my employee sign the paper(who is going to be there, who will take care of them),they bring their kids at their own risk.
so far I don't have any problem.
Some employees bring different pets in from A to Z,I just feel I don't need dogs, cats or snake running in my stores,so no pets.

I'd rather have a well behaved dog vs. a a little stinker any day!
