I'm looking at a mat equipped with Primus single & stack dryers. Does anyone have experience with Primus dryers with regard to reliability, engineering, availability of parts?
I know they're a Czech company that has made washers for Maytag in the past, but I haven't seen many mats with their dryers... Any help would be apreciated. Right now I don't have the model numbers, but believe the dryers are maybe 8 -10 years old.

Primus make Maytag's large front loader right now,I didn't see them in Clean 03,only Maytag.
I don't have Primus dryers but I think Primus dryers were made by ADC,single dryer is ADC 285,stack is ADC 235/236,go to ADC's website, you will see the same machines.

Primus was at Clean '03. They had a little tiny booth with I think 1 50# there. I think they might still be around for some OPL application, and since Clean is supposed to be an "international" show, they would have a presence there.
They did not have any dryers there, so I would assume that any Primus dryers are sourced from another manufacturer.

The Primus DRYERS you are talking about, were made by ADC.
This was a period of time (mid-to-late-nineties) in which Primus tried to enter the market with its own name brand (despite the use of another co. mfr.) ... it wasn't ultimately successful, & they dropped out.
For issues of reliability, etc., Refer to your experience with ADC.
Czech reliability, over-engineering, etc. does not apply here.
This info only applies to Dryers.
