Hello Member I think we should complain to American Dryer on their new sky up price. For example a keypad cost $1298.40 and the Control Panel cost $3735.38. A new dryer cost around $3800. I think owner going to buy american dryer should to twice. I was going to buy 15 new ADC dryer for my remodel store but I will probably look for different dryer now that ADC has this new crazy sky high price. Pass this message along to you follow laundry owner.

No, that not a misplace decimal. That is the correct price because call ADC direct to verify the price after my distributor told me the price. I think we as laundry owner should take our business somewhere else where the part are more down to earth.

Provided the 112526 has the cutout for the computer display and the ribbon cable is in the same place as the 112560, all you have to do is cut out the old touchpad but only the area where the new 112526 would go leaving the rest of the touchpad around the coin drop area. The 112526 does have a difffernt "look" but as long as it fits correctly and electriclly is compatible it will work just as good as the 112560.
The reason it is so expensive is that they don't use the coinco acceptors anymore and don't use those touchpads in any other current production machines.

Koiliab, may i suggest something ?
I realize you say you didn't slip a decimal wrong. But maybe the price of $ 3735 is the quote they gave you for a new control panel for ALL 15 dryers.
That would be $ 249, which would be in line. Same goes for the Keypad at $ 83.
PLease check those figures again - if you ARE right, please let us all know here. Then we can be informed about their practices.

MichaelCa,
Yes $1298 is for only one keypad and $3735 is for one keypad with the control board.
If anybody like to see ADC new price list go to www.amdry.com and downloab it.

Koiliab, I agree with you that that price is outragous, but I have given you another option to consider and will give you a better one. If your not willing to listen or try then that is your problem but your message while important to you doesn't belong where you placed it. The price they charge is the price they charge. Thats what happens when something is discontinued. So work around it.
I assume you have a 112560 from page 5 of this PDF...

Go and puchase a 112568. Page 9 of this PDF...

List price $140.40. Cut the right side of the touch pad in the same place as you will cut the the old touchpad. Now you will have new buttons "label and screen" while keeping the old cutout for the Coinco coin drop. Be carefull when cutting the new touchpad that you do not cut to close to the traces for the membrane of the switches.
I have done this many times when converting to card systems.
NO MORE COMPLAINING, PLEASE!!!! I did all the research for you!!!!
