I have an 8 column vend-rite soap vendor currently loaded with
Tide
Cheer
Bleach
Downy
Biz
Oxy-Clean
Bounce
Laundry Bags
All the columns are 75 cents
I hardly move any bags, maybe 5 or 6 in 3 months
Should I keep the bags anyway or drop them and add something else?
What would I add? Gain, or something else?

I would keep the bags to satisfy every customer all the time.
Do you have a snack vending machine - you could put bags in there??
Or keep them with a attendant.
My cheer was not doing well so 2 weeks ago I switched to Liquid Wisk.
Very good so far - a liquid is a good option.
First of all take the bags out of your soap vendor, not many people know they are there unless they buy soap.
You can get a double column bag vendor(large and small bags) from Vendrite free if you purchase 2 cases of each size bags.
I was only selling a few bags a month till I got the big bag vendor mounted on the wall, now I sell alot more per month maybe 45-60.
Like shraz, my Cheer was not moving and I felt I needed a liquid so I replaced it with liquid Wisk and sell alot more than Cheer.
I also have Clorox II and it does OK.

I just got the free bag machine myself. I've sold about $6 worth of bags in 2 weeks or so.
I'm planning my early retirement already :)
Seriously though if it only costs you $180 or so for some bags, and you have the wall space, why not - just one more convenience for your customers and a few more quarters in your pocket.

On the Vend-rite web page the Bag vendor is 410 with two free cases of both big and small bags. Is that the same deal everyone else is getting?

That's the right thing, but the price is way out of line.
I just got this from lipke-kentex (sp?) and the 4 boxes of bags cost me $188.
So yes, exactly the deal on the webpage but at $188, not $410.

Cheer is out for me, I am still trying to unload the last case I bought a 2 year ago. I am doubling Tide. Clorox II is a good seller.
Any distributor of Vendrite can get you the free Bag vendor deal.
All you have to buy is the first 2 cases of 50 cent bags and 2 cases of the 75 cent bags and you get the tall double column vendor FREE.
Only one drawback. The 50 cent bag box that goes in the new machine is a different size than the ones for the soap vendor so you cannot vend the old bags through the new vendor if you have alot left.

Couple of people having success with WISK liquid :
Is it because it's the only liquid vend ?
Where do you buy it at & how much? Locally, i find the REstaurant supply stores to be lower than 'industry' LaundryVend warehouses (rip-offs)

If you don't mind sharing, what are you paying, for, say, a 156 box case of TIDE from the restaurant place?
Just curious,
John

37, vs. 47.
Yeah the 'industry' supplier does specials for min. 5 cases *PER* brand: but even then its 42

Whoa, $37, that is awesome. I'm gonna have to scout out a place like this.
Why do restaurant supply stores stock cases of little boxes of laundry soap? I would of thought on-premise laundry people would use soap in bulk. But then I'm a dolt and probably missing the obvious answer :)

I agree with Mr. Suds....double up on popular selling soap. I recommend using the remaining bags for w/d/f.

I looked online for the bag vendor too. All I could find is the one for 410 dollars. Where do you get them for 188? It sounds like a good deal for that price. Thanks
