Profit Margin for Attended Mats?

On the flip side of my other post. I would like to see the same information for attended mats?

If you have an attended coin laundry what profit margin do you like to maintain? For the purpose of this poll what I am asking for is your % take home pay. (After all other expences)

This should be good. I always wondered how they compare. Thanks for asking.
I think in some locations you have to be attended.

My profit was 29.80 % so it was very close to the next bracket. Also 20% of gross was for drop off service which I could do a whole lot better and to some mat owners could add big bucks to the bottom line. Your next poll should be the gross amounts of each, unattandant and attendant it might supprise some people.

My profit margin is a hair over 40% now, even though I pay my 3 part time clerks $10/hour. It's gone up some since I put in the card system in August.

My drop-off is only about 9% of gross.... we are not on a main street, and my self-serve prices are probably higher than most other mats, so that affects the drop-off percentages.

Also, drop-off is down a bit because of the economy. Not affecting the commercial orders, but the household orders are down from last year. Quite a few layoffs in our area.... Boeing, etc.
