How can I improve my business without buying new machines. The machines are about 13 years old. We do a heavy WDF business 80%. Coins are 20% of business. What can I do to attract more coin users.

If your attended, promote a wash club 9 washes 10th one free or something.

Track customers with promotions that will promote people to enter for chances to win

Get the staff to continously remind customers to enter and get a list going of your customer base, their address and frequency.

Succeed customer service expectations of your customers.

Run an ad that advertises the self service positives to the working class. IE. Too much laundry? Not enough time? Bedding, comforter and spreads?

Spruce up and warm up the atmosphere inside the mat. Advertise a change, add tv's music, promotions

I would need to know more about the demographic profile to really say to much. One thing to consider is how much coin business is out there, and how much of it you think you are getting. If you think there is much more, the only way to boost coin rev is a remodel or a price discount. If you got most of what you think is there, not much you can do. I would look at other stores and see how they are doing.

We curently do 8800 # @ $0.90 and 2900 # @ $0.60
Self service $2100 each month. There are no other stores nearby. The apartment buildings are plentyful in walking distance. We just started operating there for 1 month. The place needs paint and new floor. How important is it to have cable TV. The TV has not been working there for a while.Yes it is a high income area.

keep going on the drop off, did you try any commercial accounts. I like to make my stores look like the next best thing to doing wash at your mom's house, the more you have to make people feel comfortable the better so yes on the cable, plants, books, magazines, community board, fish tank, i know one guy who had little birds in a cage in his store. Before you paint look at tile check out the pictures of the stores at www.asnlaundry.com, they have nice photo gallery might help you with ideas. do some daily specials and 24 hrs on friday and sat night. also do a holiday raffle to get names for mailing list. i do a wash club 10 washers 11 free. and wash and fold club 10 drop offs get 10# free, do a comforter special $9.99 for month of jan , then you hit them for drop off business when they come in. good luck
