Maybe this should be posted on the repair side. I had a customer leave a note telling me dryer "0" was not working properly. It is a 2 year old Dexter stack. It seems the problem was it took 2 quarters to dry the 4 items, ("2 almost dry, 2 slacks") and the customer wrote "it should not take 14 mins to dry 4 items" I checked the temp when the dryer runs, seems to get up to 180 no problem. Should I replace the gas valve or the Fenwal unit?

:: I am supprised coinwash put this in repair area, not everyone goes there. It is a true OOO slip I got, of course nobody is going to dry anything for a quarter. I thought everyone would get a laugh from it, I did, almost hit the floor LMAO! ::

First thing I'd check is the WTD sensor (White-Trash Detector unit). They tend to go out early in the Dexters.

Or it could be the CCA (Clueless cheap-ass) detector, located under the drum.

If it isn't that, I don't have any ideas.

Its definitely the flatulence valve.
