We have been having issues for about a month with our SQ SuperLoad tripleloader. When people over suds it it will run through all of the cycles but will not spin out. The next day it is running fine, until the next time that someone oversuds it. I think that maybe the belts are getting wet and it works once the belts dry out.

OKAY - here is the new problem - the other day I had someone over stuff the SuperLoad. It started okay but then it just would not stop. we had to flip the breaker. Then once the breaker is reset, it continues. It did manage to make it to the rinse cycle. We let it run for about two hours (off and on) to see if it would ever stop and it has not. You can here it clicking like it is trying to charge cycles. We checked the trap and there is nothing there. I thought I read somewhere that when this happens it maybe something keeping the trap open.

Any help would be approciated.

A SQ Superload is a 20# double load machine, not a triple load.

Before anyone can help we need to know what part of the cycle it is stuck in, wash, rinse, spin?

Does the washer run through the cycles, and then immediately start over? Or is it "stuck" in one cycle? Is it agitating back and forth in both directions? When it's supposed to spin, does it spin? Does it fill and drain? This washer will "run dry", meaning that the cycle is not paused for filling. It moves on whether or not water runs into the washer. Cycle length should be exactly 30 minutes.

As to the capacity of the Superload, the Alliance sales rep recently showed me figures indicating that the volume of the Superload cylinder is slightly larger than the current "30 lb" Speed Queen washer. These washers are like kids... they get bigger as they get older.

It just seems to be stuck in the rinse cycle.

It has water in it and it is agitating it both directions.

When we shut the breaker off it drains. Then when we turn the breaker back on it refills and agitates - it does not spin.

Yes - I have one Super Load II the rest of my machines are the SQ Triples and my customers love the Super Loader II cause they can fit more in it. Because it is bigger than the Triple in capacity - I would never have guessed it a double loader.

As Winston said, this washer does not rely on water level to start the timer motor. Either the timer motor is bad or the timer is not supplying voltage to the timer motor. You can check voltage at the 2 timer motor wires and if voltage is present then the timer motor is bad, if no voltage the timer itself is bad. Also....we are talking about the larger timer mounted on the back wall, the smaller timer is for reversing the drum in wash.
