View Full Version : Unrepairable dexter dryer control boards

Hello everyone

I would like to verify somethings about repair circuit boards for dexter dryer control boards and display boards ( the front boards):

1/. I sent out some dexter dryer control boards( the bottom circuit board) to a repair company in Newyork, they sent them back with message : "do not repair, darlington burned out, will damage front board ( display board) on test". What is darlington burn out?

2/. The repair company told me : If one of these board goes bad ( bottom board or front board) then sent it out to repair together do not attempt to swapp with other working boards ( other working bottoms or other working front board) to check which one goes bad because bad boards can cause damage other working boards. Is this true ??

I really appriciate all inputs , thanks a lot.

I WAS ABOUT SENT TO THEM FOR REPAIR, BUT THE PRICE HIGHER THAN D&E, SO I GAVE D&E A TRY, NOW WILL SENT TO THEM, BUT WONDER THEY COULD REPAIR THE BOARDS THAT D&E SAID UNREPAIRABLE. THANKS

I had problems with JS and D&E,someone told me they are the same company.I have not used them for 2 years,I fix my own pc boards now after all the problems with repair shop,they are cheapest one but may not be the best one.
D&E damange one of my Dexter stack board,took over 20 phone call and 1 year for them to refund my money and some money for core,they won't send the core back to me,I have to spent $399 to buy a new computer.
D&E don't like to honer their 1 year warranty,one board was not working when I received but they said I damanged it.
J&S lose one of my Dexter computer,he said he didn't receive it.
cost me $399 to buy a new one.
J&S damange one of my Dexter front touch pad(I put a new one in) but he said he received it that way.
