newguy coinslot prob. fixed - on to the next

Ok so the coinslot bar thingy problem was trivial - a wire had fallen off the coil. First problem in my first mat down, now on to the next:

I have a SQ single dryer, ST30XG, does not light. No igniter activity - I swapped in a working electronic igniter, still no spark.

What is next 'down the chain' so to speak to checkout?

I don't yet have service manuals or I'd be looking at schematics....

Go to the back and check the sail switch flap and see if it is pulling in when the dryer in running. Next check the rotary thermostat (blue wire) for 120 volts to neutral (white wire). Then the "b" switch (blue wire) in the timer. Check the red wire coming off the motor to see if you get 120 volts, terminal 3. When I get some time I"ll post the schematic.
