maytag triple loader

Another mat owner has asked me to post.

He recently bought 3 new maytag 35#. One of the machines stops at 13 minutes. About twenty minutes later, the machine will start back up and finish the cycle.

Any ideas on this one.

Thats a new one, but maybe not. I had about 8 of these machines but they were replaced with Wasco's. I remember one time I had one that would stop at about any time. I replaced the timer and it still did it, it turned out to be the delay timer. It's located in the bottom of the control housing and it's bolted to the bottom if memory serves it's blue molded square shaped with 4 leads coming out of it. Just switch it with one of the others in a good machine and see it the problem follow it. It's not very expensive maybe $15.00. It really sounds like what going on and it's a lot simpler to change that a timer.
