Does the dryer turn even if there isn't any minutes left on the dryer?
Most likely the motor relay on the computer in sticking closed. Not much you can do except have it replaced/repaired (the computer) or if you are personally handy you can replace the relay yourself.
the motor relay is the 2 large black boxes on the pc board.
if you have a lot Dexter stack, you should learn how to replace relays.
you can open the relay cover, clean the connection, may work a few more weeks.TRUN OFF THE POWER FIRST!

If it is an enclosed relay like on our AD285 you can tap on it until it stops sticking with the power still on. Use something completely insulated for safety. This has worked for us for many years & rarely do we replace a relay. The relay sticking is usually a one time fluke type of occurrence.
On our old car wash equipment it used to be too many amps causing the contact points to stick. The problem was corrected there by using a relay with higher amp rating for the contacts. On a printed circuit board replacing the relay would have other issues such as coil milliamp draw, size, & soldering alignment etc.

I have tapped my relays with the back of a screwdriver, it worked. If you are not handy with a solder gun you can send the boards out for repair, it is much cheaper than a new one.

Upper level Dexter dryer is heating up on and off, lower level is fine. Checked Computer board, fine, cleaned back of all connection, air swich flip etc. is working.. did call repair person, worked fine when he was here, he left then again on and off heating.. only thing I did noticed that when i did start dryer, igniter trying to ignite then turn off I pull up air swich, trying again, some times igniting sometimes not.. do you guys think that gas is not coming..don't know.. thanks
Do you change your igniter,I think we talk about this,Dexter use Fenwell igniter, they had a lot fail.
