One of my toip loaders does not stop adding water. It doesn't spin, or anything. It just keeps filling-up with water. (I am lucky I was there when this happened.)

I have never experienced this.

Any Ideas???

A little confusing there, spinning has nothing to do with filling with water.

If the water stops filling by unplugging the washer then either the pressure switch is bad or you have a small hole in the pressure switch tube (or it has become disconnected from the pressure switch).

If the water still runs after unplugging the washer then there is an obstruction in the mixing valve, physically holding it open.

OK - I thought maybe it was the timer. (But what the hell do I know)

Can you tell me where the pressure switch is located and how do I check this?

Thanks!

The pressure switch is located in the control panel, behind the temp switch. Pull the clear hose off and mark and unhook the wires, then remove the pressure switch and blow into the port that the hose was hooked to. If you hear it click it is most likely good. Follow that hose down to the bottom of the outer tub and remove the other end from the plastic accumulator, inspect the hose very carefully for a hole.

I'd bet money that the hose has simply fallen off the pressure switch. That used to happen to mine all the time, flooding everything.

Its seems to have been the pressure switch. I swapped it out with another machines', and it worked fine....so far.

THANKS !!!!!!
