I just received my 2nd complaint in a 2 week time about very wet cloths when the the cycle finnished. It seems it must not be going into extract speed. I ran it several times on the first complaint and now the 2nd, everything seems to be fine. This must be a sporadic problem. Any idea's?

Thanks--

1,drain system (drain valve, drain pip, darin hose, under ground drain pip....),if any of them no drain fast enough,it may cause the problem.
2,presser switch
3,relay or relay wires
4, motor
80%'s problem is the drain, relay and motor don't go bad often.

I had the same problem, with a Wasco 185, sporadic not spinning and clothes soaked after cycle. The drain valve and all other related sensors in the machine were OK, but, the drain pipe was clogged with an underbra wire, which catched all the outgoing lint, and clogged the drain pipe. Once I cleaned it, everything was back to normal.

A good rule to follow: Any unexplained (and most explained) problems with a frontloader... check the drain. Whenever I have to remove the front panel of any frontloader, I always check the drain. Doing this has saved lots of trouble. When you check a drain, remove the big hose from under the valve. Look downstream into the drain pipe. Feel up into the drain valve. Use a flashlight and small mirror to look into the drain valve. On Wascomat gen 4 (with the "pancake" valve) it's a little different. Pull off the overflow hose at the front, and look inside. Then pull off the left side of the pancake and feel inside. Massage the pancake to feel if anything is stuck inside. The pancake is good at collecting coins, keys and credit cards, not to mention the ever-present bra underwires.

If a laundromat owner were to write an autobiography it should be called: "My Life at the Drain Valve".
