Does the machine fill all the way up to the overflow tube or is the water just going down the drain because the drain valve is open.

the level control is not getting any air pressure. Follow the tube down. Does it go to the drain valve or a boot in the rear of the tub? Either way you need to clean out the air chamber.

tks for yor feedback. water fill up all the way to the overflow ,so im sure the drain valve works. I have to double check the tube to the drain valve. is this problem anything to do with door lock mechanism?thismachine had delay response once you started it. Im just wandering ? tks again .

Your problem is definitely water level control related, as TTLES has addressed. Either the level control is bad, or the tube leading to the drain valve is kinked or plugged. Also check where the tube connects to the drain. Run a wire into the plastic connector and make sure its clear. Junk from the drain can plug it up. Sometimes these tubes get caught on something and get crimped. Check the entire length of the tube. If everything is OK there, try a different level control. If none of that works, let us know. Something electric would be wacky.

The gen 4 and 5 drain valves have air chambers built into them. As previously stated, they can become clogged. Remove the valve from the machine, disassemble the top yellow plastic housing (hose connection) and check and clean the air chamber. If you have a black rubber air hose, replace it with clear poly. make sure the air tube connections are tight at both ends. The slightest air leak will cause a malfunction.
