Standard Changer model EC200, equipped with a Coinco MAG50B bill acceptor. I know, I know, Coincos are junk but that is what the changer has in it, so for right now I have to live with it.

The changer was found jammed with a $1 bill partially into the stacker. I assume someone tried to pull it back out. Anyway I worked the bill out and figured that would cure the jam and the problem. Now the acceptor won't take any bill, the bill goes in about 1/4 inch and is immediately rejected.

There are no flash codes from the power indicator light, the light is on continuously which is supposed to mean everything is OK.

I took the acceptor apart and cleaned the led's and the magnetic head thinking they were dirty, but nothing seems to make any difference.

**I can find a BFH, just tell me where to use it ! **

I didn't specifically shut it off for 30 seconds and then restart it, but it was off for several minutes at a time while I was working on it. It would never operate correctly when it was restarted.

I was able to locate a rebuilt Coinco validator and got it installed. Back up and running...everything's cool.
