I fabricated a skirt that fits on the R&B 100 frame.
The carts looks good, it fits between the wire basket and the frame with the four mounting holes that holds on the basket.
I use 2 sides to advertise local business like Pizza Parlor and the Chinese restaurant
There pay 12.00 per month and they supply 2 signs 8-1/2 x 17”

The side without the pole in for my mat.

I have been thinking of selling these skirts.

Made from 1/8 ABS black textured plastic.

Please I am interested what you think.

neat idea. get your monies worth. I know of mat owner who uses the electronic scroll bar to advertise for local businesses. I believe he charges $100/month.

I like it asuming it does not make it harder for the customer to push the cart around. Do the knock their shins against it or kick it?

I have had it in my store for 2 weeks
does not effect the movement in any way.

I will keep you posted.

Thank you for your response.

This is a cool idea. Most kids try to ride them and these signs will
block that bottom rail. Do you have a build list?

Thanks,

It looks great !

Have you tried contacting R&B directly ?

They should toss you some bucks for the idea !

P.S.
R&B, we are all watching, and we know where the idea came from !

It is nice, how much are you going to sell them,or just sell the idea to R&B?
I would screw or bolt the signs on,anything use tape will not last a week in my stores.

I have always resented the fact these other business feel it OK to advertise for free in my mats, ie, the Bulliten board, leaving flyers, "ad" magaiznes, etc, all over the place. All these mags charge for advertising space, yet thier business plan is to leave the books all over and pay no advertising space. One pizza shop comes in and posts the whole board with his menus, like 6 or 8 of them take up the whole thing. Get rich quick, weight loss, blah blah blah all over. Most of the stuff ends up on the floor and I toss it. I have contacted many of them, offer to let them advertise on my board for a mimimal fee, maybe $5 or $8 a month. Only one person in 5 years paid, and that was only for 1 month. Maybe the carts would be a bona-fide advertising media these people would pay for. They all seem to think we have great prospects, but don't feel a need to pay for them.

At least it's indoors, no? In my payphone business, my outdoor phones are constantly blanketed with stick-on ads for taxis, bail bondsmen, weight-loss, get-rich, car-wash, etc. Then, if I don't clean them off in a day or so, the city may cite me for not keeping my phones clean!

Whats the happy medium to help Coinwash capitalize on our almost 1000 membership list.
Members on coinwash.com do the same thing as customers do to laundromat bulletin broads.

We know the feeling

A company in IL placed very nice AD in laundromats wall and paid for the space a few years ago but I only received one check from them, they went out of business in the first year.
P&G has been placing AD in my stores for years for free,I think they put those nice AD all over the country.
I let Maxian Market next door use 3 of my winslows for ad,I don't charge them anything but without Maxian Market,my gross is 25% less.
If you can find business pay for the ad ,even the wall space, window can be used but "pay for the ad" is the hard parts.

HUMMMMMMM let's see got to pay bills hummmm
We always wonder how some customers freak out over losing .25 cents.
With all the information you get form this board some of you can't see a value... HUMMMMM.

But if you look at our hero list they're some people who see the value...
and we thank you. Yup and they charge us to advertise too!!! which they should.
HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM ;)

I think I saw this already.

The idea is great but in some mats they would get abused.

In attended stores they would have a better longevity.

Please keep us informed,

Best of luck too.

Love the idea. Do you plan on having any choice in colors? I'd be interested in trying a few if you need a test base. Please keep us informed. Good luck. Nice to see fresh ideas.
