I thought I would share this with everyone. Aug. 13th I replaced my old gas tank type H/W heaters with a peerless oil fired boiler and a 120 gal SS tank. For a med. busy mat I am only burning 3 gals a day of oil I am locked in at $1.40 per gal of oil so that figures to $4.20 a day for hot water so far I am real happy with it. I will let everyone know in a few months how it works out compared to gas. Does anyone else use oil to heat water?
