My dryers are old and the paddles full of metal parts. Probably screws and change.

Any tricks for getting the trash out of the dryer paddles without taking the drum off?

I've thought of cutting a round hole under the paddle to let it all fall out.

good question. I've got the same problem w/ my 20 yr old SQ's.

I'm amazed at how all that stuff actually got IN there in the first place. I can hardly find a crack for anything to fit through.

I tried a hole to get the pennies and crap out on a Huebsch stack. Didn't work.
I plan to look for an expandable foam that can take the heat one of these days. When (if) I find it, I will shoot it into the paddles.
Besides removing the drum, that is the only possible solution I have come up with.
