Instead of thinking why customers attend your mat, think about why some do not. See if you can put a percentage per income on the count that will not do business with you.
Why is that?

Do store owners compute the dollar amount of the clientelle in their area. Do you analyze the revenue of you competition?

You may be thinking to much. It could hurt a brain.
A store is ony going to do so much business, so spending time figuring what business you don't have seems like a waste of time.

As for spying comp, I only check one regualry, only to make myself feel good about him loosing money. He was warned about putting a store in that location, it hurt me a little, but I have great peace knowing I was right, and he is bleeding. Sometimes it is good to be right. For my other comps, I don't care about them,. they have thier customers, I have mine. Spend your time on your own business, not someone elses'

I'm not going to worry about it until I visit my competitors and see that they have replaced all the burnt out lights, cleaned and painted, and have invested in new equipment. As long as my comps are dumps, I'm not going to worry about it.
